People all over the world have developed acquired tastes for all sorts of flora and fauna. While some of them have become commonplace, others, on the other hand become somewhat marginalized. Whenever we encounter one of these “not so common” culinary treats we do our best to try them (provided the dish is not made from endangered species). That being said, throughout our travels we’ve tasted: dog, spider, snake, frog, silk worm, cricket, live octopus, crocodile, kangaroo, and many others, and to this list we can now add the Filipino delicacy called Balut!
